One of the most awaited new cars to be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show is the 2017 Bentley Flying Spur V8 S. As the British automaker has already revealed it, it is clear that the new Bentley got improved performance and a revised suspension system, as well as new visual cues to differentiate it from the rest of the model range.
The Bentley Flying Spur V8 S gets a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 with an additional 21 hp for a total power figure of 528 hp. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, 0.3 seconds quicker than the Flying Spur V8. The engine features variable displacement with the ability to shut down four of its eight cylinders while cruising.The transmission is an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox with an all-wheel-drive system. The V8 S also gets optional carbon ceramic brakes with red or black painted calipers.
Among the unique styling cues the Bentley Flying Spur V8 S is differenciated by, there is a unique grille insert with black styling and a beluga gloss rear diffuser. Optionally, the V8 S can be specced with dark-tint lights at both the front and rear with black gloss exterior mirror covers and a unique Mulliner Driving Specification 21 inch black and bright machined six-spoke wheel.
Inside the cabin, piano-black wood veneers and a three-spoke sports steering wheel are fitted as standard. There is a unique colour split combining two-tone seats with a contrasting roof centre bow and V8 S headrest stitching. Bentley will deliver the first customer Bentley Flying Spur V8 S in the summer.
